LABOR & EMPLOYMENT
Our Labor & Employment Department is comprised of a highly specialized team with extensive experience in employee hiring and termination, implementation of social and economic policies, modification of employment conditions (including compensation, geographic and functional mobility, among others), workforce restructuring and collective redundancy proceedings, collective bargaining agreements and strikes, as well as legal representation in labor disputes, both in administrative and judicial proceedings.
Particular attention is given to senior executive relationships due to their relevance to our clients and the specific complexity of their contracts (compensation arrangements, confidentiality obligations, non-compete clauses, among others), their termination, and the potential overlap with other civil, corporate, or commercial relationships.
Our Labor & Employment team works in close coordination with other practice areas of the Firm, particularly in the drafting and supervision of executive employment agreements and the development of compensation policies. In addition, in collaboration with our Tax Department, we advise on the design of compensation and incentive plans, including, among others, stock option plans, profit-sharing schemes, and pension plans.
